Volunteer for Trail Work

Check out our home page or our Facebook page for our upcoming work parties and read below for info on what you can expect from a typical work party.

What happens at a work party?

You get to spend a few hours in the wood getting dirty with a bunch of fun folks.

Every trail work party is different. Sometimes we sweep trails to clear lose dirt or trim back brush to keep trails from getting over grown. Other times we are moving rocks & dirt to build new trail.

Don’t worry though, you will be instructed by a trail crew leader who knows exactly what needs to be done.

What should I bring to a work party?

Recommended:

  • Long Pants
  • Long Sleeves
  • Sturdy Boots or Shoes
  • Work Gloves (Gardening gloves w/ a good grip work well)

Yes. We can We also schedule a special work party for your group if there isn't one currently scheduled that meets your needs. We typically run work parties in the Fall and Spring as this is the best time to play in the dirt.
